Steps to Enable GodMode

“GodMode” in Windows is a hidden feature that provides a centralized location for accessing all of the system’s administrative tools and settings. By enabling GodMode, you can simplify access to a variety of system management tasks. Here’s how to enable GodMode on Windows:

Steps to Enable GodMode:

  1. Create a New Folder:
  • Right-click on your desktop or in a folder where you want to create the GodMode shortcut.
  • Select New > Folder.
  1. Rename the Folder:
  • Rename the newly created folder to the following exact name (including the period at the end):
    GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
  • Press Enter to confirm the name change.
  1. Access GodMode:
  • Once renamed, the folder icon will change to the Control Panel icon.
  • Double-click on the folder to open it.

What You’ll Find in GodMode:

Inside the GodMode folder, you’ll see a list of system settings and administrative tools organized into categories. This includes:

  • System and Security
  • Network and Internet
  • Hardware and Sound
  • Programs
  • User Accounts
  • Appearance and Personalization
  • Ease of Access
  • Clock, Language, and Region

Each category provides access to various settings and tools, making it easier to manage and configure your system.

Additional Tips:

  • GodMode Folder Location: You can create the GodMode folder anywhere, but the desktop or a convenient location is recommended for easy access.
  • Permissions: You might need administrator privileges to access some settings and tools within GodMode.
  • Not Available on All Editions: GodMode works on most editions of Windows, but there might be some limitations depending on your version or specific configuration.
